Who We Support

The Leesburg Heritage Society is responsible for maintaining the Heritage Society Museum at 111 South 6th Street in Leesburg.  The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am – 2:00pm and houses displays from 1857 to present day! The Heritage Society also gives tours of the historic Mote Morris House at 1195 W Magnolia Street on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from 10:00am until 2:00pm.  Some days our docents wear period costumes! Did you know the Woman's Club of Leesburg has always supported the Heritage Society and is a Lifetime Member...? Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month at Rogers Park Pavilion and guest speakers (some born and raised in  Leesburg) always provide interesting bits of information on the history of Leesburg and surrounding areas.  Refreshments are generously provided by Beyers Funeral Home at 3:30 pm and meetings begin at 4:00 pm.  All are welcome to attend.
